Expressions is an exciting new jazz duo project and the latest release from vocalist Leonard Patton, which features world-renowned and multi-Grammy nominated pianist Geoffrey Keezer. This recording carries an eclectic collection of tunes from Monk’s, “Think of One” to Tears of Fears’, “Everybody Wants to Rule the World”; From Stevie’s, “Love’s In Need of Love Today” to Patton’s Ornette Coleman-inspired original, “Go Fish”. As noteworthy guitarist and musical engineer for the album, Peter Sprague, stated about the album; "It is just the right mix of pre-composed material and magic made in the moment.” Patton along with Keezer set a high mark on Expressions giving jazz listeners a fresh dose of spontaneous beauty.
